• 2024: Started writing on medium.com.

• 2023: Became a LinkedIn Certified Marketing Insider. Started blogging.

• 2022: Ran my first Amazon Pay-per-Click (PPC) and LinkedIn ads.

• 2017: Built my first Shopify Store. First appointment as Seller Ambassador.

• 2016: Won my first ecommerce award. Opened my first Shopee Store. First search engine optimisation (SEO) experience.

• 2015: Ran my first Google ad. Operated my first Amazon Seller Central stores. In US, UK, France, Germany, Italy & Spain marketplaces. Opened my first Lazada & Rakuten Stores.

• 2014: First experience as entrepreneur. Dropshipped my first online order. Ran my first email marketing campaign.

• 2013: Wrote my first Excel VBA macro.

• 2011: Spoke at my first Analyst-hosted Industry Round Table.

• 2010: First job in a Swiss MNC.

• 2009: Ran my first Facebook ad. Presented at an industry conference as invited speaker for the first time.

• 2007: Addressed my first overseas press conference.

• 2006: First international secondment by employer (to Malaysia).

• 2005: First general management role with P&L responsibility. First role in emerging South Asian & South East Asian markets.

• 2002: First corporate mega merger experience.

• 2001: First Asia Pacific Partner Advisory Board membership. First selection under a Next Generation Management Program.

• 2000: First cross-functional project experience.

• 1999: Implemented my first organisational restructuring.

• 1998: First people management role.

• 1997: First KPIs for multiple geographies (Australia, New Zealand & Korea). First international relocation by employer (to Singapore).

• 1996: First experience of dual reporting matrix structure (solid-line country & dotted-line AP).

• 1995: First job in a US MNC. First job in IT industry. Ran my first channel program.

• 1994: First job in advertising agency. First presentations to senior international client executives.

• 1991: First job. German Fortune 500 MNC. Industrial marketing.
